Talking Hockey with Jeff Hamilton

Yale graduate and NHL’er Jeff Hamilton discusses his childhood, skating on his half-flooded tennis rink (small area), playing multiple sports growing up (soccer and baseball) until college and believes this multi-sport model benefited his development; he is an advocate of the ADM. He also mentions how his parents didn’t ‘cross the line’ that many parents do. Jeff strongly believes in the small area games model (cross-ice), lighter blue pucks and smaller nets as he has seen what it does for his youngster; so much so he has built a small rink in his backyard!
Gotta love CT Hockey!
